A place for relaxing
During summer, the Calendal Gardens, becomes one of the most popular areas of the hotel. It is the ideal spot in which to relax after exploring the town on foot.
A classified garden
In 2003, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs classified the hotel’s gardens as belonging to the nation’s general cultural heritage.
The experts consider the garden, created in the 1890s, as being remarkable on three counts – its situation, its layout and the species which are found in it, in particular the 100 year old nettle tree or ‘micocoulier’.
